Here’s an interview that Wale had with Rap Up talking about a potential track that he wanted to record with Kid Cudi on the hook along with Drake on the track.
He recounts asking Jay-Z for permission to record the track (since Kanye produced them) and Jay-Z just telling him nah lol.

We’re still waiting for Lupe’s album “Lasers” to drop… (December 15th)
Lupe’s album “The Cool” was amazing. It was an instant hit and I hope Lasers can keep that trend going. From the one single I’ve heard, “Shining Down”, if it keeps up with that tracks amazing-ness, it should be good.

He talked about some kid that was talking shit to him on YouTube, wantin to put out a brand of condoms and even his house that comes with a mandatory stripper pole along with 37 bathrooms. Great, funny interview. 50 Cent is back and going hard.
