There’s a back story to this new Scott Free remix release. About a year ago, Scott Free saw a tweet by Wale advertising an audition in front of record executives. Scott Free showed up but they didn’t let him audition because he was months shy of his 21st birthday. After a series of tweets back and forth with Wale, the night ended.

This freestyle over Wale and Chrisette Michele’s “Shades” tells a story. Listen all the way through, there’s a surprise at the end of the track.
