New Music Exclusive :: Julkeyz
This is a WatchMyEgo EXCLUSIVE release, we have it first.
Julkeyz comes through in the stretch of a long day without new music to give us a remix of one of the most popular songs out there right now.
Using John Legend’s acapella, Julkeyz remixed the Adele hit “Rolling In the Deep” giving it a fresh sound fit for a party.

New Music :: Michael Jackson
Ummm… I don’t know either but this is a track that might be from the extensive Michael Jackson vault catalog.
The song is a snippet of Michael Jackson featuring Lenny Kravitz called “Another Day”.
Download/stream the mysterious song HERE. If you all listen to the song and it sounds familiar, let us know in the comments.
Kanye West showed up at Kid Cudi’s concert last night in LA and decided to premiere some new music for everyone in attendance. He lets everyone know that it’s his first time back in about 3-4 months (after the whole Taylor Swift ordeal). He even brings out Amber Rose for a second. I’m not going to spoil it for you, just listen to what Kanye has to say…
The verse is pretty awesome. Pretty, pretty awesome. Enjoy.
New Music :: Wale
For the 3rd time in as many days, we have a new track from a dude that I can see going REALLY high up in the game.
From the fingertips of Elitaste:
“So in the spring of 2007, I suggested to Wale that he create an audio manifesto of what he wanted to accomplish as an artist once he signed. DC producer Osinachi, the maestro behind “Nike Boots” who is now part of Rodney Jerkins’ team, blessed Wale with the beat for “The Meeting” and Wale, how do you say, “went in.” This became the first track we played in label meetings and for a time, it was discussed that this would be the intro for Attention Deficit. In retrospect, I think Wale stayed true to the goals set forth in “The Meeting” and you can still hear the hunger in his voice. So 2.5 years later, this track is emancipated. And make sure you cop Attention Deficit if you haven’t done so already.”
It’s an old track (2007) called “The Meeting”, download/stream it HERE.
WORLD PREMIERE!! Music video for Mike Posner’s supersmash hit, “Drug Dealer Girl”.
Check out the hottie in the video Rosa Acosta. Look out for more Mike Posner coming your way soon.
I was contemplating whether or not to post this because I want the sneakers all to myself but I have the civil duty to let you all know whats good, regardless of my own inhibitions.
Check what The Source has to say:
As you may know Karmaloop has teamed up with Kanye West to auction off signed items to benefit the Kanye West Foundation. Starting tomorrow the final auction for Kanye’s Air Yeezys goes live on KarmaSwap.com!
Since December 3rd Karmaloop has been celebrating the launch of their brand new auction site KarmaSwap by auctioning off Kanye signed memorabilia. 100% of the proceeds raised will go to the Kanye West Foundation which combats the severe dropout problem in schools.
The final auction of the signed Air Yeezys runs from December 11th through the 18th. You can visit Kanye’s Closet on Karmaloop: http://www.karmaloop.com/klswap/kanyescloset.aspx
Bape x Kid Cudi (Part Deux)
Here is what I stole from Dat New Cudi:

“After the huge success of the first Bape x Cudi collaboration they’re back for another round. Bape will be releasing a limited Kid Cudi x Milo t-shirt at the Bape Los Angeles location to commemorate Cudi’s participation in Lady Gaga’s “The Monster Ball” tour. I saw the design for this tee and its dope, better then the first collaboration so stay tuned for the shirt preview and more info. Spotted at C’est La Vie.”
I was at the first event in September in NYC and waited in line for like 3 hours to get the tee, which I did. I barely wear it now though because there were only 100 of them made and I feel bad wearing it.
Check out the shirt I got though:

Lots of respect for @Wale. You don’t see artists going into malls to connect and see their fans. If they do, they don’t put the videos up and they should because more and more fans see the connection and they like that.
Watch the video and listen to Wale’s music. I promise that you will not be disappointed. He is really good. Really. I promise.
XXL Freshman Class of 2010?

So last year’s XXL Freshman Class included Wale, Kid Cudi, Curren$y and Asher Roth. The pic above is an alleged leak for next years list. XXL is claiming that it’s a fake though, which I am and am not agreeing with.
Big Sean, J. Cole, Wiz Khalifa and Nicki Minaj are reasonable candidates. I do think though that Mike Posner, Scott Free and Chip tha Ripper should be on the list along with maybe Gudda Gudda or even nearly all of Young Money. I know that Drake is already bigger than all those names but has he even been on a list like this before?
We’re just going to have to wait until January/February for the real thing. Congrats to J. Cole and Big Sean for the consideration!
Who do you all think should or shouldn’t be on XXL’s 2010 Freshman Class?
